Our Services
Club Ride provides free, one-on-one assistance to create a commuter program for your employees. As a partner, you’ll receive the following:
- A designated outreach coordinator to assess the program and guarantee its success
- Assistance with implementing the program through onsite events, marketing materials, and promotional incentives
- Access to our ridematching service where we help your employees find carpool and vanpool partners
- Access to Guaranteed Ride Home, a free service where we help employees who use our commuting program get home in the case of an emergency
- Tax benefits – by subsidizing employees’ transit costs or letting employees pay with pre-tax dollars, you’ll reduce tax burdens and boost your bottom line
- Transit pass bulk discounts of 15% – pass on the savings to Club Ride participants as a great employee benefit

Tax Advantages
IRS Qualified commuter transportation benefit.
This exclusion applies to the following benefits:
A transit pass
Example: EZ Rider Transit Pass Program through Club Ride
A ride in a commuter highway vehicle between the employee's home and work place
Example: Vanpool – any vehicle that seats at least 6 adults (not including the driver). In addition, you must reasonably expect that at least 80% of the vehicle mileage will be for transporting employees between their homes and work place with employees occupying at least one-half the vehicle's seats (not including the driver's).
EZ RIDER Transit Pass Program
Employers who are a Club Ride partner may purchase discounted EZ RIDER transit passes for employees in bulk at a 15% discounted rate.
Benefits:
- EZ RIDER is exclusively for Club Ride partners.
- Employees save even more when the cost of pass is deducted pre-tax, using the Transportation Fringe Benefits Plan (Section 132, Internal Revenue Code).
- With pre-tax deductions, employers save on payroll taxes.
- Sell transit passes at a discount to employees or offer for free as an incentive.
- EZ RIDER passes are delivered within seven business days.
- Sign an annual contract to receive payment terms, make payment prior to or after delivery.
To qualify, employers must sign a contract agreeing to purchase a specified number of passes over the course of the year.

Guaranteed Ride Home
As a Club Ride employer partner, your Club Ride member employees have access to an important benefit: the Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program. Designed to give peace of mind to Club Ride members who regularly carpool, bike, walk, vanpool, or take transit, GRH serves as a reliable backup when unexpected emergencies arise.
How It Works:
If a qualifying emergency occurs, Club Ride will reimburse the cost of the ride home: up to $75 per incident, up to five times per calendar year. Eligible transportation options include transit, taxi, Uber/Lyft, rental car, or a ride from a coworker.
Reimbursement is Simple:
Employees pay for the ride, submit a short Trip Summary via their Club Ride member profile, and receive a reimbursement gift card by email. Destinations can include home, a park & ride lot, a child’s school or daycare, or a medical facility.
Note: Members must actively report trips (at least 4 in the past 30 days) to qualify.
Employers must be enrolled with a designated Transportation Coordinator (TC).

Preferential Parking
Offering up-front or covered parking spaces to employees who carpool or vanpool is a great, no-cost incentive for employees to participate in the program. Club Ride provides reserved parking signs and preferential parking rearview mirror hangtags.
