Fares & Passes
Transit customers are encouraged to download the rideRTC transit app to plan your trip, buy your passes and GO! Passes purchased from unauthorized sources are invalid. All passes are valid on all routes. The RTC is not responsible for lost or stolen passes.
Child & Youth Fares
Children five (5) years of age and younger ride for free and must be accompanied by a responsible person.
RIDE RTC YOUR WAY
We’re making it easier than ever to pay for your trip with simple, flexible options designed for you. Just choose how you want to pay and go.
- Tap to ride: Use your Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card — or tap your phone or smartwatch with your mobile wallet — to pay for a single ride on board. You can also tap your RTC Tap & GO reloadable card.
- Buy passes or load your Tap & GO account through the rideRTC app.
- Load with cash: Add cash to your rideRTC app at participating local vendors.
- If you prefer cash, you can still pay onboard — just have exact change ready.
Strip and All Access
The normal schedule for the Deuce provides premium frequent service approximately every 15 minutes along the Las Vegas Strip and in downtown Las Vegas. Visitors are required to pay Strip and All Access fares. Passes purchased can be used on Strip routes and all residential routes. Exact fare is required when purchasing passes on-board or at ticket vending machines. Children five (5) years of age and younger ride for free and must be accompanied by a responsible person.

Reduced Fare
The RTC offers reduced fares for Active Duty & Veterans, youth (6-17), students (K-12), senior citizens (60 and over), persons with disabilities, Medicare eligible persons, and Mobility Trained customers. Strip and All Access (Reduced Fare)
If you are a visitor and have a valid reduced-fare eligibility card from another transit system, simply present it at the time of boarding in order to pay your reduced fare.

Paratransit
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada’s (RTC’s) Paratransit Service is a shared-ride, door-to-door program available for those who are functionally unable to independently use the RTC’s fixed-route system either all of the time, temporarily or under certain circumstances. All Paratransit customers are eligible and encouraged to use fixed- route services. Paratransit ID card holders can ride any fixed route or express route free of charge.

Passes for Veterans
All Veterans and active‑duty military with a valid ID are eligible for a 50% discount off full‑fare pricing.
Passes for Students
Students (K-12) are eligible for reduced fare. UNLV, CSN, and NSC have exclusive discounts for 30-day monthly and semester passes.
Residential Routes
All passes are valid on all routes. Exact fare is required when purchasing passes on-board or at ticket vending machines.
