RTC PARATRANSIT SERVICE UPDATE

RTC PARATRANSIT SERVICE UPDATE

RTC continues to make steady progress following the recent transition to a new technology system. We appreciate your continued patience and feedback as we focus on improving your experience.

The customer survey is now closed. As a reminder, customers who participated in the survey will receive two free rides added to their paratransit account by May 22.

Based on your feedback, RTC has expanded day-before booking hours for the myRideRTC Para app and online portal. Customers can now book next-day rides until 6 p.m., extended from the previous 5:30 p.m. cut-off time.

IMPORTANT:

Thank you for riding with RTC and for your continued support and feedback as we improve our services.

Proposed Fares & Services Updates

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is PROPOSING changes to its transit fares and services to help address rising operating costs and increased demand, while maintaining reliable service. These changes include fare increases and pass eliminations for both paratransit and transit riders, as well as route and timing changes for transit service.

We encourage all transit and paratransit riders to provide input now through June 23, 2026 by visiting rtcsnv.com/transitupdates. All proposed details and two short surveys are available.

These changes will impact you!

If you already have an account, tap Sign In, then select Forgot Password if needed and follow the prompts to reset it.

If this is your first time using the app, please contact RTC Customer Care at 702-228-4800 to register and receive access to your personal account.

If you are using the myRideRTC Para web portal:

First, open the myRideRTC Para platform by visiting rtcsnv.com/BookmyRideRTCPara. If you already have an account, click “Sign In”, then select “Forgot Password” if needed and follow the prompts to reset it.

If this is your first time using the app, please contact you RTC to register and receive access to your personal account. Once you sign in, you will be prompted to configure two-factor authentication to continue.

Methods of two-factor authentication that you can select are:

  • SMS Text Message
  • Email

Select your preferred method of two-factor authentication and click “Send a one-time code.” Upon receiving the one-time code through your preferred method, enter the code and click “Enable.”

You will receive a notification when your vehicle has arrived to pick you up. As a courtesy to your co-riders, the driver will only wait for up to 5 minutes. In order to stay on schedule, the vehicle will depart if you do not show up within the 5-minute waiting period.

The driver may pick up and drop off other passengers along the way. Drivers are not authorized to make unscheduled stops. You would be required to book a separate ride to travel to two different locations.

You can view all your trip details under “My Journeys” in the app, where both upcoming and past trips are stored.

To ensure the best service for all passengers, please be ready to board at your pick-up location the start of your 30-minute pickup window. You’ll receive a notification when your vehicle arrives if you booked through the app. If you’re not present when the vehicle arrives, the driver can only wait briefly before needing to proceed with their route to maintain service for other passengers. Repeated missed pickups will affect your ability to use the service.

After your trip is finalized in the app, you will be notified by SMS Text when the driver is on the way and again when the driver arrives. You may also track your rides within the app.
